I should win this contest because of the discipline it
took to train, eat right, and take my supplements without
cheating for over 3 months. I had to say "no"
to all cake and ice cream, all fast food restaurants,
and alcohol consumption.
When I first started this contest, I knew I had it in
me to keep up with the training program. When I set my
mind to do something, I make it a point to finish what
I set out to achieve.
Back in March, all I was thinking about was the money
and the Dodge viper, along with the fantastic vacation
to the Caribbean. It was my incentive to get out of bed
at 5:30 am so that I could train before I went to work.
But, as the time rolled along and I began to see myself
change, I became motivated to make myself a better person.
The money wasnt on my mind anymore; I began training
for me, for a better, healthier life.
Now that I have completed, what I feel was a very successful
goal, I have set other goals and challenges for myself.
The Muscle Tech competition was my first challenge. Then,
to run a marathon became my second challenge. And who
knows, maybe I will eventually be fit enough to compete
in an Ironman Triathlon or a fitness competition?
What I found most amazing about my change in lifestyle
was that once I began to reach my goals, new opportunities
and doors opened for me. I changed jobs, I found an excellent
trainer near my house, and I found friends to run with
on the weekends. I could go on and on.
Looking back at the last three months, I am so happy that
I decided to take part in your Millennium Competition.
It has changed my life forever.
The money, the car, and vacation still will be nice, but
if I dont win, at least I have a beautiful body
to look at.
Thanks for putting out such a great competition!! |
