Exercise and eating right not only makes you look better, but it will change the quality of life you live. Here are a few things some of my clients have said about joining an exercise program. Feel free to
email me and tell me how your life has changed since you started exercising. I would love to post as many positive stories as I can.

I have been going to a periodontist for about 15 years for sore and bleeding gums at which time they told me to come in every 3-4 months for in-depth cleaning. At one time I even had to have surgery on one of my deep pockets. Every since then, the pockets in my mouth have been between 4 and 6 and got worse when I went through chemo three years ago. At my last visit about two months ago, my periodontist said I had the best looking gums since I've been going there. My pockets were 2, 3 and 4 (no 6's). She asked me what I have been doing to get such a good report. I told her I have been going to a Nutritionist for the past year who has helped me with my eating habits. They agreed that probably that was the reason for my good report. . Thanks for your help.

After a couple of weeks of using parts of the workouts (Shoulders & Back by Angie) the numbness in my leg has gone and I feel better. Now I need to keep it up on some sort of a regular basis. The exercise on hands and knees, raising the leg and opposite arm seemed to help the most. The first time I did it I really felt it in my lower back. I do feel better.

Thank You: Craig

Dear Angie,
Things are going well. I have been trying to avoid looking at the scale, since I know that inches will likely come off before lots of pounds.

I can already feel a difference in my shorts and pants! I've had to increase my belt tightening by a whole loop!

Thanks so much!

By the way, I liked the article in today's paper. The word is out...the priness of pain is coming to get ya!

Angie.
FYI, a coworker of Allan's (an acquaintance for about 15 years) told
me today that working with Angie has totally changed me. Apparently I
seem a lot happier, less tired and more talkative and social. I don't
talk in such a quiet voice and when I talk now, it's not just about
computer stuff that no one else understands. Hehe. That's good! But
I'm still a computer geek. LOL

Angie-

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I thought it was fun just helping you out with the name so the free gift is just an added bonus. I also wanted to let you know that I checked out your website again yesterday after receiving your e-mail and I have to tell you that I am very impressed with what you have done. I actually found your website originally when I was looking up information about trainers. I started working out in January this year. Over the past ten years after graduating from law school, I gained over 150 pounds. I have always been a big guy (codeword for overweight) but when I was in law school I started running and biking and went from 295 to 210. Unfortunately, after law school, I gained it all back and then some. I own my own business (you know how stressful that can be) and went through a Divorce and lots of other fun stuff. Unfortunately, I turned to food and beer as my stress relievers. At the beginning of this year, I decided that it was time to make a change. I started going to church last year and as my relationship was developing with God, I realized that all the things that I do in my daily life should be to glorify Him and not me. I started playing guitar in our church youth band and being on stage in front of a 150 kids each week really made me start thinking harder about what type of message I was sending them about how God wants us to treat our bodies. I realized I was not doing the right stuff. So I hired a trainer and starting really watching my food quantities and quality and cut way back on the beer and so far I’ve managed to lose 70 pounds. I feel great but I know I’m only about half way there. It is very encouraging though to see people like you out there encouraging people like me to get in shape. You have accomplished amazing things and you should be very proud of yourself. Just know that God has truly blessed you and you are an inspiration to people. I truly wish the best for your continued success.

Thanks

Dear Angie,
I wanted to thank you so very much for all of your valuable advice and your dedication to educate people like myself on nutrition and exercise. I gained self-respect and a change in attitude that I plan on using to propel me into the next phase of my weight and fitness journey. Through working with you I realized I am capable of many things and I am especially proud of the commitment I made to see you for 2 years. I really do wish you were closer though! I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your friendship and your amazing attitude. You, my dear, did not miss your calling!

In March of 1994, I sustained a work related injury to the postero-medial aspect of the left hip joint. This injury left me with a limp in any gait and a need for plenty of ibuprofen. I enjoyed sports but the tennis and raquetball world aggravated my hip so much that I could no longer play. My choices for exercise were limited and the local gym just didn't provide the remedy I sought. Consequently, I began to exercise less and less due to the pain. I eventually stopped exercising because I realized that pain medication is not a long term solution.
The, a trusted friend at BioKorium spoke of a facility named TotalDay Health and specifically of "Angie". I decided to take her suggestion.
Angie has now become my personal trainer for every aspect of my body for the last 4 months. I trust and respect her opinion of what I need to do to improve my body. Because of her advice and strength training, I have freely given up the desire and need for pain medication.
Thanks Angie! I have really learned so much from you.

Dear Angie,
This is to thank you and the whole team put together by Dr. Scott Hohulin to form TotalDay Health. I suffered for years with back and head pain from a car accident in 1985. I was going to the chiropractor at least once a week for years until I was referred to you to work on specific muscles to strengthen my damaged muscles and relieve the pain. You truly work miracles and I am pain free and feel alive - Thank you!

RE: Benefits of regular wt. lifting workouts along with cardio exercise particularly for Women 50 yrs. of age and above.

I whole-heartedly recommend the program at Total Day Health to obtain and maintain optimum health and fitness levels for all women and highly recommend the program for women 50 and over. The results are astounding.

This is a personal testimony of the positive effects of regular exercise along with a proper diet for health and fitness. I have experienced each of these health and fitness benefits as a result of my wt. lifting/exercise/and healthful eating program. It is worth all of the time and effort put forth to stay fit:

Increased balance
Increased energy
Increased upper and lower body strength
Increased self and body image
Increased flexibility
Decreased urinary stress incontinence
Significant decrease in body fat
Decreased incidence and progression of Osteoporosis
Increased balance
Increased balance

One of the main causes of injury and death after the age of 50 is falls. Increasing balance, flexibility and body strength significantly decrease the incidence of these types of injuries.

Decrease in body fat significantly impacts and helps to minimize and in some cases eliminate disease processes such as diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer, as well as other diseases.

Increasing the pelvic floor muscles also significantly impacts and helps to decrease or eliminate urinary stress incontinence, which many women experience after the age of 50. I had been contemplating a surgical procedure to minimize bladder problems before I began my exercise program. The problem has now become so insignificant that I no longer require any type of surgical procedure.

Lowering the amount or eliminating the need for hormone replacement therapy can be of significant benefit to many women. Having the body’s natural hormones at work is always the most desirable. I have cut my estrogen intake in half.

Weight lifting is one of the most important things women over 50 can do to maintain their health and fitness and increase significantly their quality of life. I can personally recommend wt. lifting and regular cardio exercise and guarantee that all of these benefits can be yours as well.
