Rosemary Nirschl

Rosemary first came to see me at 224 pounds with a body fat percentage of 52.9%.
She has shed the excess weight, found balance in her life, and now has more energy to keep up with her daughter. She now weighs 198 pounds and a body fat percentage of 38%. She not only feels younger, she looks it!

Dear Angie:
Wow! What a year it has been! One year ago I was contemplating the second phase of my life, as I was on the road to turning 50 years old. I thought to myself I could continue on the path of unhealthiness and fall deep into the abyss of chronic illness and premature old age; or I could wake up and take control of my life. I looked at my 8-year-old daughter and decided that I wanted to take control.
Once I fixed my head on the idea of a self-transformation, I realized that I was very capable of being successful. I began dieting and working out. I quickly lost 25 pounds and was gaining self-confidence by the day. Half way through the program, I hit a plateau. No matter what I did I could not alter my body weight or shape. Then I found you.
As I began working with you, I realized that years of on again off again dieting had taken a heavy mental toll on me. I was a professional “weight watcher” but I needed to be an active “weight lifter” and “clean eater.”
In addition, I have learned that body weight is only one number is an all-important 5 number summary. In fact, you have taught me that body fat percentage, caliper measures, hydration levels and muscle mass are far more important in looking at total health. Slowly but surely, I am making the paradigm shift to measuring my success in all of these numbers.
Oh yeah, that dreaded birthday finally arrived and believe it or not I embraced my 50th birthday. I am happier and healthier that I have been in 25 years. I have so much more energy to spend doing fun activities with my family. I have even joined my daughter in Tae Kwan do lessons. We both just won our purple belts and are on track to be black belts by next year’s birthday.

Glenda Gardenhire

My name is Glenda Gardenhire and I just turned 54. I have been seeing
Angie since November 2006. My husband and I met her at an Estate Sale and we exchanged Business Cards. We first noticed her adorable puppy and we started talking about our two crazy ones at home. After we spoke for awhile I realized maybe I need to see her.
My husband is a road bike rider and an Instructor at LA Fitness so, he's in great shape.
Me on the other hand!.. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and had "Total Knee Replacement" in December of 2004 on my right knee and in March 2006 I had tendon repair.
I had lost a good amount of weight on Weight Watcher's but, really needed to get in shape. When you have a disease that limits a lot of what you can and can't do it really makes it difficult to decide to do anything. Swimming was my only friendly exercise.
My Doctor's have been telling me for years that I needed to exercise regularly and I kept coming up with excuses about how much it hurt. Would you believe it, they were right.
Angie set me up with three virtual workouts: Upper Body, Lower Body and one for Shoulders and Back. I feel great and I'm still losing weight and building muscle.
I weigh less now than I did when I got married 23 years ago, and according to Angie's wonder machine my age is 27. So, I not only weigh less I'm younger.......
I'm in so much better shape thanks to Angie and my husband who is my coach. I'm even doing the cycling classes with him.

Kelsi Lee

Kelsi was weighing 130 pounds and was 31% body fat in January. She wasn't feeling good and her energy was low. Kelsi decided to get serious about her training and her diet but she needed a goal to help her stay focused. Her trainer, Angie Lustrick, suggested that she compete in a figure competition. A figure competition is very similar to a body building competition but its focuses on being lean with some muscle tone. It's a great avenue for women that train hard and want to show off their athletic build. Kelsi decided to compete in the ABA/INBA Natural Bodybuilding/Figure Competition in Corona in April. This gave her 3 months to stay strict and follow a strict training regimen. Kelsi exceeded her transformation goal and lost 23 pounds of body fat. She was 102 pounds and 17% body fat for the day off the show! She looked amazing and has a trophy to prove it!

Well it's been two years since we started this journey together, and what
a wonderful journey this has been for me. Not only have I lost weight, but I
am a healthier person today. Can you believe it, I went from a woman's 18/20 to a size 8. Thank you for giving me the knowledge, encouragement and the occasional kick in the butt which I often needed. I am looking forward to reaching our new goals we've set for 2007. Six pac abs here I come.

Sarah Witte

Sarah went from a size 14 to a size 4!!

I was worried how I would look on my wedding day. I had started to get lazy and was spending to much time in the drive-thru. With only two months until the wedding I was starting to panic, then I meet Angie. Angie was kind and caring and helped me to pinpoint all my diet and exercise mistakes. She helped me to manage my diet adding more protein to my diet as well as vitamins my body had been lacking. I have been doing weight training with Angie twice weekly and have watched my body change into a leaner more sculpted body. Everyone is noticing as I have melted from a size thirteen to a four. The best part is how great I feel, I have so much more energy and stamina. My confidence has gone through the roof! I want to thank Angie again for all of her support and guidance. I have had to return my wedding dress twice to a smaller size and I will be proud to walk down the aisle.

A coworker (an acquaintance for about 15 years) told me that working with Angie has totally changed me. Apparently I seem a lot happier, less tired and more talkative and social. I don't talk in such a quiet voice and when I talk now, it's not just about
computer stuff that no one else understands. Hehe. That's good! But

After I had knee surgery, I ballooned up to 230lbs with about 30% body fat. The before pictures that I attached were done on January 15, 2005, and I looked a mess. But thanks to you and all the advise on nutrition and workouts, the after pictures were shot 6 months later, and my body has gone through dramatic changes. Here are my stats as of July 13, 2005.

Javier Moreno

Javier has put on 12 lbs of muscle and lost 22 lbs of fat in less than 3 months. Due to his tremendous phyical transformation, Javier won the monthly competition of losing the most weight within 30 days. For the month of August, he consistently lost 3 lbs of fat per week! His body fat percentage has gone from 46% to 18%.

Kia Gamble

My friend Karen Brandon (see her amazing photos) introduced me to Angie on my 30th birthday as a present.  She knew I wanted to get back in shape after my second child turned two.  I was always in good shape and had exercised regulary but could not loose the "baby fat".  My old exercise regimen included aerobics 3-4 times and week and eating a decent vegetarian diet. What I learned from Angie was that I needed a cleaner diet (i.e. less carbs and sugar and more protein).  She combined that with weight training - something I had NEVER done before.  I learned alot about what types and amount of exercise yields the best results and what a large role foods have in achieving these results.  With her help, within 5 months I had been "transformed" and entered my first competition where I placed 4th!!! I lost 22 pounds and gained more muscle than I have ever had.  I feel and look wonderful!  Angie is truly amazing.  I couldn't have done it without her.

I can tell you honestly getting started with my transformation was not an easy task. Being a workaholic this took a total adjustment of lifestyle. Making time for the gym, and it may sound funny, but making time to actually eat!! At first I was working out 2 - 3 times a week for 30 minutes and not seeing any results. Not looking to become and Arnold Schwartzenager I just wanted to shed some weight, gain muscle definition, and increase my strength and endurance. My trainer started educating me on nutrition. I was eating all of the wrong foods with little or no protein. Once I started eating clean foods along with the proper supplements I noticed results in only a few days. I could actually see muscles forming, clothes began to fit looser and looser. Let me tell you that there is not a more gratifying feeling than to have to go shopping for new clothes because your old clothes are too big. Showing of a six-pack is pretty awesome too!

Thank you for educating me on health and fitness. I have always been an active person and what I thought was fairly healthy, until you sat me down and really educated me on my diet and weight training. You have really instilled some new values in me about how to take care of myself through eating right and exercise. When my daughter Angie put me to the challenge to enter a before and after contest, I thought it was a far fetched idea, but after thinking about it I decided I needed a challenge and a goal. I am glad I did it, my life has changed and I have become an inspiration to my friends who believed because we are over 50 we are doomed to look our age as well as feel old. My personal goal has set a precedent, the people around me can see losing weight and staying healthy can be a reality and not just a dream.
